Long time off of here!  I just kind of drifted away from dA a while back & got sidetracked with other things.  I have been doing some sewing & quilting and both of my parents have been sick so, I have been busy with all of that.  Not to mention, I have a beautiful new granddaughter, Emi Claire, who is now 4 months old and an artwork in her own right, if I do say so myself.  :-)  I lost my fractal program when I gave my computer to someone to repair over 18 mos ago & I still haven't gotten it back.  :-(  With other expenses & myself not working, I decided I shouldn't spend the money on a new UF program & I'm not fond of using any of the others

Well, we got a new principal (jerk!) at school and he decided to play with my life, so he fired me from my job and gave it to two other people...the football coach's wife and the freshman counselor's mother.  How about them apples!!  The Lord knows I didn't make enough money at that job to worry too much about that part of it, but I loved being with the kids and helping them.  I really miss all of them terribly!  I have trained to sub for the local city school system, so at least I will have something going on, but I just don't think it will be the same. It's sad when people only think of political connections and their own power trips instea

I am so glad the holidays are over!  I love having the break from work and seeing my kids is wonderful, but it sure does make a body tired.  I almost need a break to get over the break! :lol:  My house was full of people pretty much the entire two weeks I had off so it is just not a time of rest (and boy do I need rest! :crazy:).  Anyway, I did do a little bit of fractaling while I was home so I am posting one piece I worked on.  It's the first in a long time so nobody faint!  It's not the best work I've ever done, but at least I did break out the old UF and create a little bit.  Maybe I'll get around to doing some more art soon if I ever get
